Property Description

A large lot, because it includes a portion of the canyon-bottom that would flood during rainstorms. Position your home on the upper, north portion of this lot, overlooking the canyon bottom, the rugged stone cliffs to the south and the 80 mile expanse of the Tularosa Basin to the southwest. See attached photos of these panoramic views. The Restrictive Covenants for Canyon Hills subdivision, copy attached, were drafted over 50 years ago. Many of the lot owners within the subdivision wish to update those Restrictive Covenants. When that takes place, such amendments to the Restrictive Covenants will preserve and protect the value of each lot and each home within the subdivision. Each lot owners cooperation in that process will be appreciated. The Canyon Hills Area Water Users Association operates the private water system for Canyon Hills Subdivision. Each lot owner has one share in the water system. The Association holds an annual meeting once a year to update all members. Prior to beginning construction on their lot, the lot owner pays an initial hook-up fee, currently $250. Installation of the water meter, provided by the Association, is the responsibility of the lot owner and must be performed by an approved New Mexico- Licensed Plumber.
